This reminds me of the reactions of people at a trade fairs I attended in Germany. I learnt German at school but I never really liked it so I never learnt to actually speak it. However I'm quite good at pronunciation and accents so all the people couldn't believe me whenever I said "Entschuldingung aber Ich spreche nicht Deutsch. Nein, kein Wort. Wirklich. " 😂

Mialem kiedyś kontrole w Niemczech i w miare ładnie po niemiecku powiedziałam, że nie potrafię mowic po niemiecku i jesli maja ochote pogadac to znam angielski... Nagle niemiecki policjant zaczął mi zadawać pytania po polsku 😂😂
