Loot boxes IS gambling! Any casino employee will tell you that! They'll also tell you not to buy any Loot box or "pay to win" game. EA's troubles began slowly with gamers and parent groups. It's finally hit government levels. It's become more of a problem than the money is worth. Too much bad publicity can eventually whittle away at your customer base. I had a relative who worked for EA. Transferred out of the artist/graphic design teams and into human resources to get out of the pressure cooker the former department had become. Used that resume background to get a much better job. Hope other employees do the same.
