Great collab Anna and Melissa! What a great idea to save what you spend. I really believe in checking your expenses and see what you spend money on, this was a wake up call for me and has helped me save money!

What a clever way to save money! Also great that this is a method that can be adjusted depending on one’s situation.

That's fantastic. A clever way for younger people to develop a good saving mindset as well. Good for Melissa!

You can take this to the extreme and invest every penny that you don't spend on necessities. Then every month your dividends will give you a bit more to invest, so you essentially get a raise every month

Great suggestions! This is such an important topic to be discussing. I really enjoyed the video!

Nice tip. Could be a bit severe on your monthly capability! But then I suppose that's the point isn't it... cut down and focus on what you need. I like it.

This is a really interesting saving technique. I might try it out for a month just to see how it works out!

That's really interesting. So essentially, you would've spend 50% less? Take rent for example. If you are going to save the same amount you pay for rent, then that would force you to look for a place where your rent doesn't chew up 50% of your monthly salary. That's pretty smart! By the way, not sure if you noticed, but your video is having a bit of trouble looking for a focus point.

If you can't buy it twice you can't afford it - Jay Z. Maybe not always possible to follow but definitely something worth following when making a big purchase. Thank you for sharing ladies, always enjoy hearing from new people :D

Saving what you spend is a great idea, it kinda reminds me of the Moneybox app that invests your spare charge. This psychology definitely helps with living financially healthy, great share Anna!

I trick myself by pretending to be broke. Then I invest it all in stocks, that how I’ve grown my portfolio to 6 figures. 📈💰

That’s a great idea! It’ll really make you question whether or not you want/need the thing! 😅😅🔥

Not for me but I'm sure it will (as it has already) work for many!

I think this method would be great for my partner who loves spending and gets paid at irregular intervals. Great idea thank you. I’m going for the pay yourself first method x

That’s an impressive rate of saving!! As long as you make over double your basic expenses it sounds great. Tik Tok has inspired both of you on this! I’ve been working on my savings as well. I’m impressed she can pay for her doctoral program out of pocket. But, is she saving a dollar for every dollar she puts into that program? That would be very impressive!

I started investing in what I know. I'm in the video games industry and it is set to be a 200 billion dollar industry in a couple of years. I opened my Vanguard Index fund too. Your channel has a lot of value. You should check out eSports Index, it's set to be massive in the coming years. I've invested in that Index too. Have a look at ESPO. Thanks again for your content.

Thanks for these awesome tips! Hide your accounts. Part two of the out-of-sight, out-of-mind approach is to make sure you're not regularly reminded that you have this .

Saving video for later, but i usually do regular automatic transfers to savings accounts that i don't really look at on a regular basis. The less i have to think about "saving" the money, the better.

Learn to live off of less!
