So you've got yourself a new MTB! Lucky you! There are a couple of checks that you should do on your new mountain bike before you go and get it muddy! These checks cover everything from a quick build if it's from a box to making sure the bike is safe to ride and that the set up is correct for your personal preferences!

45 years of riding in the UK and I've always had the rear brake lever on the left.

I test rode that bike and it was a blast, didn't climb as well as I expected, but point it downhill and it turns into a mini DH bike, especially on the jumps!

Kudos for adjusting brakes by sight I'm always using that method since 2003, never trust the squeeze the lever and tighten the bolts method.

If you read this GMBN PLEASE talk to guys at Canyon to make this changes to Spectral for 2018 :
Full internal cable routing, 29er with 67 or less HT angle, Boost front and rear, longer reach, 73mm Threaded Bottom Bracket and Metric shock.
I think i dont ask too much...

I have used bar tape for frame protection and have found some nice ones from Serfas through Amazon.
