The GT-2000™ 8 running shoe is a great choice for runners of all abilities who want a supportive and responsive everyday trainer.

The sole of the GT-2000™ 8 is still made of soft, lightweight FLYTEFOAM™ technology. In this update this foam is slightly softer than its predecessor for improved underfoot comfort.

The latest version of this classic running shoe is softer and lighter than its predecessor. This is due in part to the sculpting of the GEL™ technology cushioning unit and a softer segment of foam under the heel. These two updates help give runners better impact protection at footstrike.

This new outsole design is more flexible and works with the softer midsole foam for a smoother transition from footstrike through toe-off.

The fit of the GT–2000™ 7 model carries over to this version with a slightly wider and higher toe box. This allows for a more accommodating fit. This update of the GT–2000™ 8 shoe is also lighter, with a men’s size 9 shedding nearly an ounce.

The stability this shoe offers comes from DYNAMIC DUOMAX™ technology. This midsole piece offers extra guidance for those runners who continue to roll-inward (or overpronate) at midstance. This technology helps set the foot up for an efficient push-off.

On the technical side, the GT–2000™ 8 offers a 10mm drop from heel to forefoot for both men and women. The men’s model weighs approximately 10oz or 285g. The women’s model weighs approximately 8oz or 235g.

PS2 Gran Turismo 2000: Imposter!

Found a pair for 80 euro reduced. Feels good just with my orthopedic soles feel thigh on the fingers especially right foot so not sure what to do. Good price being reduced but i use them mainly for fitness training and sure bit running too. Will they get bigger larger feel more comfortable after using them? how much? am not sure. Should i bring them back or not as I tried them at home only? I have another pair Contend 3 more basic but for what i use them for....any suggestions? Cheers.

In 2008 I went back into the Military at age 48, being that old I wanted a good running shoe to help with my PT test. So I begin my search, I finally decide on Asics from all the reviews. So I bought a pair that was made in the USA, these runnings shoes lasted over 5 years. And Asics is the only running shoe I have bought since 2008, My last two pairs of Gel-Cumulus 18 and 19 have worn out in the toe area in less than a year of walking. I was not running in this shoes, these were for walking can my shoes of 2008 last a good 5 years? I will NO LONGER OWN ASICS!
