Again and again I have found myself to be more than pleasantly surprised by Lion Brand products. I love their feel and richness of color. Great yarn for the price..

I bought a kit from Lion Brand which was supposed to include several skeins of "Beautiful You" 2 weight yarn, and instead it contained 6 skeins of "Color Made Easy" yarn. Of course, Lion Brand took responsibility, sent me the correct yarn, and they allowed me to keep the Color Made Easy skeins. I decided to make my grandchildren new winter hats with it and they turned out beautifully! It worked up wonderfully with wonderful stitch definition. I dont know if I would have tried Color Made Easy yarn on my own, as it is a bit pricey. But after working with it, I find I really like it and may purchase it again.

I appreciate your review and I do agree. I have also found that yarns from Turkey do tend to be softer.

I agree with you about yarns made in Turkey. They really know what they’re doing. However I don’t understand why Color Made Easy is so expensive, more expensive than Wool-Ease it seems. Of course Wool-Ease is easy to find discounted

Stellar great information. Thanks for this, I’ll certainly be looking at the KnitPicks yarn from now on for future projects.

Weird. My notifications were turned off. I had to reset them.

Great review. Thank you.

I'm waiting for my color made easy so I can make your sweater. I loved this review. I use very little bulky yarn but am planning a blank so it's nice to know about the Knitpicks yarn option.

I don’t like to shop for yarn on line unless I already know how the colors look as I find that the colors aren’t always the same as pictured. I notice this when I have some of a color and then see it on line too. I have used this yarn and really enjoyed the feel of it when knitting. I purchased it on sale, so the price was reasonable. I knit for charity so don’t like using yarns with wool—many charities won’t take items with wool because of care required and fiber sensitivities.

I am scared of getting anything from China anymore. Scared of the dyes etc. I think I want to buy made in America yarn even if I need to get natural fiber for more.

Color made easy looks like a beautiful yarn but would not pay the price. Thanks for your review.
