Blue Archive JP Total Assault Season 55 Gregorius Torment

Показать описание
I think I really like this boss, both presentation and game play. The mechanics were involved and made sense in Blue Archive, unlike Goz.
Main mechanic is number of debuffs. Gregorius and his choir will be strengthened or weakened based on it, and for torment, you want to keep it 6 or 7. Putting debuffs on the boss will transfer them to the choir, but not the other way around, so make sure to put them on the boss.
There is also a pipe organ in the center, and it will either debuff or remove a debuff either your party or the enemies depending on which way it's facing, and you can turn it by hitting it with EX skills. It's not random, so you turn it at the start of the fight, and every minute or so afterwards.
As you can see, I'm using Minori twice, and it turned out, there is only 1 Minori assistant, and it's someone from my friends list. And that means I'm raking in credit by setting her as assistant.
Well, it also means I get 1 shot per day, and this was that 1 shot. I got a better score on previous day, and even right before the recording in practice, but as always, real run is much worse than practice. I think I can come up with a strat that doesn't involve Minori twice, but eh, after a clear, my motivation isn't too high, I guess.
I think I actually got the best damage right before the last Minori EX, something like 3 or so million better, but after her EX, it's 3 or so million worse. I thought I was finally getting a 2 party clear, and I had no doubts, so I wasn't ready to pause the game after noticing it.
There is a 1 party strat that basically looks very similar to my party 2, and I was trying to follow it. Even though I don't think I can get 1 party clear, it would still be a good chunk of damage. But I couldn't quite get it, so I modified it a little.
There are many bugs with this fight. I think it's the most I've seen playing Blue Archive. One of them is very obvious visual bug that starts around 3:43. I think I can just not use EX skills right when the camera turns.
More serious bugs involve some adds not granting the stun meter when they die, and some adds not transferring the damage to the boss. I don't know about the stun meter since I'm relying on getting a stun at a specific time to avoid Saki dying, but maybe I could just come up with a new strat if it was normal.
The damage not transferring, however, will help me a lot if it was fixed. The problematic adds are the right most 3 on the right stage, and you can see me throwing Minori EX at them around 4:34. You can throw it to hit adds on the center to deal more damage, but my Saki can't survive when any of the right adds are left alive. The same adds are there during the last phase, which is why I only hit the left ones.
I included my character stats, and you can see a lot of them are undergeared. That is because most of them are just there for debuffs and heals, and most damage comes from Nagisa and Minori. It is very satisfying to watch Minori just deleting about 100 bars off of the boss.
Overall, I really like it. Boss's attacks matching the music is really cool, although it stops the actual BGM to do so, and that's unsettling at times. I think it works really well during the last bit where it doesn't get interrupted other than when you use EX skills, and that is fine by me.
The enrage phase is really cool, too. There are so many adds, music gets really intense, and spamming EX skills to deal massive damage just feels good. My 16:10 tablet aspect ratio doesn't show the full arena, but I'd recommend watching the whole thing uninterrupted with 1x speed. You can find them on YouTube, even.
Next is Kaiten elimination raid in this back to back to back raids. On one hand, it's little exhausting, but on the other hand, it's more game. I wonder if raids are going to be this regular once elimination raid is out of beta. It might be fun for a while, but I do think taking breaks is important. We will see, I guess.
