You're right. I used my pencil diagram when inputting on my calculator, but wrote it down wrong on screen. AD is root 14, as seen in the part before. So 3.53 is the right answer, I just showed the wrong working. Will correct when I get a chance. Well done!

sq root 43 x sin71 is 6.20017993 when I do it, but sq root 14 x sin71 is 3.537806563
