I'm happy for that our mates in the UK can finally get to Spain. Unfortunately, for us Aussies, even if Spain said we can come over, Scotty from marketing won't open the prison gates...

Myself and three friends are booked to travel Plymouth to Santander in late June for a motorcycle tour. I’ve received an email from Brittany Ferries to say that they’re planning on opening a new route from Plymouth to Porto at the end of this month, presumably to get round the amber light problem that Spain presents. Whilst we still plan on travelling to Spain, it does mean that we’d probably spend some time in Portugal too, which we hadn’t otherwise intended. The only fly in the ointment is that, regardless of the rules abroad, the UK still insists on two PCR tests, before and after returning.

Spain won't require a PCR tests but airlines might well. A PCR test is required before going home, to days confinement and two PCR tests.

Here in Alicante the taxi guys I spoke to were so happy about the announcement that uk was coming back. Idiots on here who say things about British haven’t a clue about the working Spanish mans mindset, they really happy the man couldn’t stop smiling when I told him Monday.

Hi Stuart, many thanks for the updates, which are very informative. We recently moved from Ireland to Asturias for a few months (We have NIE cards). One question which you may be able to answer, or maybe your subscribers will ; Currently domestic (Spanish) tourists to Ibiza from Spain mainland for tourism purposes, require a negative PCR test, to visit the Belearics.
Is this the case for visitors from every autonomous Region, or only those Regions with more that 100 accumulated Covid cases (14 Day infection rate), per 100, 000. The information available online is contradictory, or confusing. (Asturias has less than 100 cases, but is still on the PCR list for Belearics). Maybe this will all change after the 7th June, but what is the situation before then ?
Kind Regards. Daniel.

Can’t wait to finally take a vacation in Spain 🇪🇸 thanks Stuart I don’t mind wearing mask for safety for myself and for others even though I am already vaccinated since February 2021 here in California. Keep up the 👍🏻

Hello! I’ve recently discovered your channel and am finding it wonderfully informative! Our family is supposed to fly from the USA to Spain on June 10th. We booked flights after the announcement that fully vaccinated persons would be welcomed in Spain after June 7th. Now we have learned of a BOE extending restrictions until June 30th but the government seems to be offering zero explanation or clarification. Surely it has to be of concern to airlines, hotels, etc that thousands of non-essential persons may have to cancel or change plans on very short notice. Is this normal operating procedure in Spain? We live in Miami and Cubans call this “arroz con mango”.
