As we're almost midway through the year, it's time to pick my 5 favourite inks that I've inked up over the last 6 months. The rules are: no inks that were included in my favourite inks of 2023 and no inks that I've only swatched but didn't ink up in a pen. What's your favourite ink of 2024 so far? 🌈

Lovely choices, I'm not really into orange but I really like the look of that Orange Indien. Greys are always my favourite so Kiri-Same is lovely. That green is gorgeous.

I love it when you say J. Herbin like a proper French man. 😅 I've been into brown inks, but orange inks have piqued my interest as of late. Thanks for showing the orange one from JH...might need to pick that one up. Curious if you've tried the Pilot Iroshizuku Yu-Yake. That was the orange ink that made me want to delve into this color after all the browns I've collected.

such a lovely assortment of colors. i haven’t tried a single one of your top five. pilot iroshizuku is definitely my favorite ink brand with take-sumi being my favorite. having a black ink as my favorite surprised me like you were surprised by some of your favorites. enjoy your journey for the next six months! 😊

A very good looking palette! Good choices. That green looks so interesting. Thanks for sharing. One of my first inks in this journey across the land of fountain pen was Orange Indien, and it still has in my top. 😅

I have a tiny bottle that Orange Indien and have not even tried it! Must get to it. Still want a bottle of Three Kings.
