I was born in 1981 and my mother said she remembered taking me to a street party for the wedding of Charles and Diana. I grew up with her in my life. I met her in 1995 and she invited me to Kensington Palace with my family. I have a signed photo from her saying "Dearest Richard, lots of love from Diana x".
She suggested that I should be a footman when I turned 18 which I did. I joined the Royal Household Staff as a Footman in 1999. I never dreamed that Camilla would ever be standing on the balcony of Buckingham Palace with the Queen and her family. Its a sight that I can't get used to.

When Diana married Charles, she was just turned 20 while Charles and Camilla were well pass 30ies, so how come you said Diana was the manipulator....?
Charles and Camilla were the ones who tried to manipulate her.
At 20 Diana was naive, thinking she could make Charles falls for her but instead, he made her life misrable. Told her she was too fat that ended up with her eating disorder. When reporter asked, are you in love, she shyly said, of course but he embarrassed her by replying "whatever love is"!
The whole world heard this and shook their head.
Had Diana being a few yrs older, she most probably would have thrown his ring to his face there and than, but she was too young and naif. All she did was, looked a him stunned.
