Jem and the Holograms She Makes an Impression Kimber Benton Raya Alonso Unboxing | Life in Plastic

In this video, I will be unboxing the Jem and the Holograms She Makes an Impression giftset. The set includes two dolls: Kimber Benton and Raya Alonso, both members of the Holograms. These are ultra limited edition collectible dolls with an edition size of only 600.

Kimber has striking bright red hair and wears the "Rock n Roses" ensemble that was inspired by the 1980s Hasbro fashion pack of the same name. The look also appears in the animated series. Kimber also has a blue electric guitar with roses printed on it inspired by the 80s toy line. Her accessories include rose stud earrings, a white scrunchie, and hot pink high-heeled booties.

Raya has bubblegum pink hair and wears her "Onstage" look, which consists of a hot-stamped jacket and mini dress with a ruffled peplum around the waist. She comes with a drum kit. Her accessories include hoop earrings and bangle bracelets, nude mesh stockings, and shimmery high-heeled pumps.

Jem and the Holograms has a special place in my heart. I enjoyed reruns of the animated series as a kid in the 90s. As an adult, it brings me so much joy to finally have Jem dolls!

She Makes an Impression gift set was designed by Vaughn Sawyers. The packaging was designed by Alain Tremblay.

I am a child of the 80's, so I like Kimber's outfit - TOTALLY FORENZA! IT's update 'Rock n Roses is wonderful...although I agree the shade of the shoes might be a bit off. I was a teenager when the TV show was on, so "too old" for it or the dolls, but I remember them. Also, I am also HERE for a scrunchie moment of any type! Ha Ha!

I can't wait for all of us to meet up at the doll show in Ohio! I'm hoping to find a few dolls from my wish list, too!

Hi Jared, I was never a Jem fan I was an 80’s girl opps now you no my age🤗 but I didn’t think these dolls where worth getting back then I didn’t like there looks, BUT this set is beautiful, I love the style, ARTICULATION 🤗🤗🤗🤗clothing in the 80’s where not meant to match it was always mix & miss match lol I know but the more different you could be meant you stood out. I LOVED the 80’s so much. My fave would have to be the 2nd doll you showed. With the stand dropping, just put a very small clear elastic and put it on the stand from falling, one you get from the packaging hope that would help. Always hugs & Love Pandora ❤️🇦🇺❤️
