I appreciate the artistry, the architecture of the location, and sound selection but it was a "non" for me...

The collection lacks as much personality as the models wearing it. Every design house is doing the same over sized, unflattering clothes, copy one another rather badly and using 12 year old kids to show clothes for men. Soooo boring…next

Who is this collection for? Is this for a corp guy whose wife wants him to dress more chic? Is this for a young hip person or an old person wanting to be hip? I don't see many people wanting to dress like this with a white shirt and tie. I feel like there was nothing to see here. The designs didn't jibe. There were nice pieces but nothing one couldn't find elsewhere. When i look at a collection. I ask myself; does this collection stand up to what's out there now and to the up and coming designers collections? Does it break new ground? Is it commercial? Is it Avant Garde? I don't think yes is the answer to any of these questions. Matthew Williams will be replaced as designer.

This certainly wasn't that bad compared to some of the other monstrosities Matthews has curated in past collections at Givenchy but the same problem exists with Matthew that his collections and work constantly feel like he is an identify crisis and has no real design philosophy or true identity that is distinguishable apart from his overdone roller coaster buckle/belt. This collection like the rest of Matthew's works just feels rehashes of other brands from the last two/three years into one collection.
