How to CALL on the RADIO

These are the three calls you need to know on a VHF radio -
1. Securité = this is used for a general broadcast about the safety of navigation including operational signals, weather alerts, or navigation hazards
2. Pan pan = this is used if there is an urgent matter but not life threatening.
3. Mayday = this is a call used if there is an imminent threat to you or your boat.
