I got my first barefoot pair today. Sandals and now I'm waiting for other pairs, mostly for Lems Zen for transition. First walk in barefoot sandals in city was really difficult. Take care! :)

A perfect example of why no arch suport in your shoe is bad. Your feet are not the only concern as your legs will attest. Try well fitting comfortable shoes with good arch support. Your legs, hips and back will thank you when your older. Just because you can do something doesn't mean you should.

I live in Colorado and walk usually 100 miles a week and ride my mountain bike a couple hundred a week. I'm not sure how many steps a hundred miles are

Build up to it. You've not used the muscles as much.

That's also a ton of walking for a day. Like a crazy amount.... Not recommended.
