On February 7, Rep. Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez (D-NY) and Sen. Ed Markey (D-MA) introduced the Green New Deal resolution, a sweeping proposal that targets all aspects of the U.S. economy in an attempt to address climate change. The proposal is a massive investment in clean energy jobs and infrastructure, linking action on climate change to labor and industry. Since the concept launched into the public discourse in November, more and more Democrats have committed their support, including many of the 2020 Democratic presidential hopefuls. So what's actually in the proposal? And how did it gain so much momentum?

Many years ago i designed a subdivision of homes that would be resistant to the more intense storms due to climate change with few responses to all i sent a message to, mostly EPA people....so these people really don't care!

I'm from the mid-west and was once working in a building that was hit by an F-3 tornado, we were digging people out of the rubble for hours afterwards.

These homes I designed can withstand a direct hit by an F-5 tornado and the occupants inside would be safe and sound, or a hurricane, or a wildfire, and even flooding like what happened in Houston a few years ago.

There are other benefits of these homes I call Earth Top Homes as they will maintain an average inside temperature of 70 degrees year round no matter the climate extremes outside.
Roof top Solar Panels and wind generators can now be used to run the units appliances and charge an electric car.

Plus the building of these homes has severe carbon footprint reduction, saving our planet and cost for the consumer...

Even if it was passed it would still be very hard to make it a reality. Ideas and thoughts on paper os much different than getting all these things done. Promises are easy to make but hard to keep.

You should do a video on how socialism has worked for other countries and what the ending results have been. Also maybe a video on how China and India is actually the 2 worst countries for affecting climate change by a LOT. The US would barely affect climate change if we were completely green starting right this second.
