You really remind me of myself @13yrs of age. Being the youngest of 5 girls, by the time the hand-me - downs reached me, it would be washed out & threadbare in places. I used my Mom's hand sewing machine a d I would snip, tuck, take away, add on... Until I had something completely new.... Which would make my sister, older by 2yrs, sneakily and without my permission, wear my new creations in my absence.
