I have that same Auxbeam 8 gang switch panel I connected my rock lights, under carriage lights, and light bar. It’s a great switch panel. It really helps with keeping all the wiring clean and organized.

Much more functional, is there a reason you haven't fitted a winch yet? I can't get through hunting season without mine between unexpected snow storms in remote areas and hanging deer/food.

Always disconnect the NEGATIVE battery cable, disconnecting the ground side of a 12 volt system is absolutely the safest and best way to disconnect the electrical system. The positive can cause a voltage spike or spark when re-connected and sparks are NEVER good around batteries and voltage spikes can burn out or damage the different modules that are in a modern vehicle.
