Normal sudoku rules apply. The grid is partially covered in fog. Placing correct digits will clear the fog from surrounding cells. Digits on a black dot are in a 1:2 ratio.
Split-Pea Lines: The sum of the digits on a line strictly between two circles is equal to a concatenation of the two values in the circles, in some order. For instance, 4-347-1 could be a valid split pea line, as 3 + 4 + 7 = 14, which is 1 concatenated with 4. Digits may repeat on a line if allowed by the other rules. Lines do not cross, branch or share cells with other lines, but they may share circles.

Thanks for solving my puzzle! And it is indeed called Pea Soup because of the thick fog reference!

This was great - a great video, a great puzzle, and a great anecdote at the beginning about mushy peas and guacamole! And I see what you did there at the end, about finishing lickety-split. So clever - thanks, Mark, as always.

Solved in 54:17, but I already know my solved was flawed, which makes it unsatisfying. Turned out, I didn't understand the rules quite right, so when I was working out the opening logic, I never considered that the 3-cell line along r4c2 r3c3 r2c4 could add to a different total than the 6-cell line in box 1 and never proved that 23/32 was invalid for those circles leading me to fill in the 2-7 pair and trio of 9s prematurely. Then, for the other 3-cell lines between the 2-7 circles and the shared 1 at r4c4, I forgot 12 as a possible sum and incorrectly went straight to 21 and 17 as the two sums. I literally just got lucky that my unproven conclusions were correct. Very unsatisfying for me, but still a good puzzle!

I finished in 46 minutes. This was a really fun puzzle that relied on quick maths. Unfortunately, I was a little slow on the uptake and my time took a beating because of it. I dig the split pea ruleset and the fog makes it even more interesting. I think my favorite part was working out which path the lines took in box 2. One path was ruled out by having two flanking 3's in column 4 of box 8 and column 6 of box 2. That gave nowhere for 3 in box 5. I thought the troll line being absolutely massive was a funny ending. It seems like my math skills need sharpening. I was never going to beat Mark in this type of rule. You win this time, Mark. Great Puzzle!

I mean, I know, but the man is a beast!

Green lines oh so scrawly and squiggly
Beneath the gray fog they get wriggly.
They remind me of Jell-o
So I'll go say hello
Then with them I'm going to get jiggly.

Wow. Liked the puzzle! Very few times where I didn’t ever have to retreat back to the video to solve!! Thanks for showing it!

Great puzzle and great solve! Mark gets extra points for the thumbnail, one of many classic Seinfeld episodes.

I didn't think of the reverse concatenation at the start. I guess I got very lucky there. I was stuck on the black dot in box 8 and its effects on column 5 for ages, so I took just over an hour. Not my finest solve but very enjoyable, especially the final 95 line.

Loved that. Took me a while to get ahead of the 2 lines coming to the same total, but then it went smoothly thereafter.

Uhmmmm.... I have no idea how I did it, but was able to complete in 16:03 (conflict checker off), and no guessing done! I'm still getting used to this new constraint, so a bit shocked I was able to complete it so quickly! Awesome puzzle from Oddlyeven, many thanks to them!

YES, I've called a really foggy day out, "a real pea-souper."

I think I said:
"It's like pea soup out there."

75:51 for me. I find it so fascinating that Mark's solving path is virtually identical to mine, but even then, he's spotting stuff so much quicker than I do! Setter and solver, take a bow...

29:34 ... glad I didn't have to resort to breaking out a calculator at the end

Nice puzzle!

Took me 70 minutes but I did it without help from the video so for me that’s pretty good given i also did it on an empty stomach.

Fun puzzle. 20:52 for me - I got stuck for a while halfway through.

I got about 1/3 of the way through, slowly working out what combos were possible and what were not. Unfortunately, I made an unrecoverable error somewhere and blew the whole thing. No problem, it was too math-y for me anyway.

34:02, but I probably cut a minute off that time by at one point choosing not to do the math to make sure that long line had a minimum value above 59 allowing me to place a 9 in a bubble as my only other high option. It seemed right, haha, and it was. Great puzzle

Liked it, was a bit of a hassle at first because I looked over one line extending into box 2. At the end it did ask for some heavy math lifting, but then again with fog at least we know when we're on the right path.

A fun puzzle after I was frustrated earlier. Slowly savored this sudoku in 05:35:27.
