It is one of the longest-running scripted television programs in the world, airing nearly every weekday since November 8, 1965. It has since been syndicated to many countries around the world.It rebroadcast same-day episodes on SOAPnet weeknights at 8 and 10 p.m. (ET/PT) until the network's closure in 2013. The series was created by husband-and-wife team Ted Corday and Betty Corday. Irna Phillips was a story editor for Days of Our Lives and many of the show's earliest storylines were written by William J. Bell. In January 2014, the show was renewed through September 2016.

The Deimos murder storyline is too boring and rushed and here's why I think it could've been better:

1) Sonny confesses to his family and they all manage to get through to him not to confess

2) JJ learns of Sonny's "confession" and would've be like Steve, begging Sonny to let HIM take the fall and not his cousin. We would've seen a strong bond between next gen cousins like what we see in Hope and Jen.

3) Later the amulet would've appeared in Sonny's pocket.

4) Have a new character in Salem who was hired by Deimos but fired by Sonny overhearing Sonny and blackmailing him and his entire family to get his/her job back. Add all those 4 elements together and you got a storyline worth watching.

Sonny playing noble was just too rushed, because a few weeks before Sonny was drowning in Titan power and it would've been a nice change of his character to see him struggle between staying in power and running a company and be filthy rich and enjoying it, or following his conscience as he just did.

I guess they did that because Ron's writing is next week?
