Lenovo Tab M10 & M10 Plus 3rd Gen Review: A 2023 Recommendation?

The Lenovo Tab M10 and M10 Plus 3rd generation are two inexpensive tablets running Android. While many aspects are not super interesting, they could be a great choice once prices drop in deals like Black Friday. They do offer a solid built quality, good screens, almost pure Android, and you can use the M10 Plus with the Lenovo Precsion Pen 2.

What do you think of the Lenovo Tab M10 and M10 Plus 3. generation?

Redmi Pad is TWICE the price, not a "bit" more expensive.

I got the m10 plus with 4GB and 64GB large last year. It was a choice between it and the Samsung A8. The Samsung Tab A8 lost out on a number of rather important points. First was that for a hundred more, the Samsung only had 32GB storage, and 3GB RAM.
Second the samsung did not have the s pen, and the Lenovo does.
Third, the battery of the Samsung was also only at 5100 ma, while the Lenovo has 7700 ma.
The Samsungs display also does not match the display on the Lenovo.

So far I have had no issue with the M10 Plus, but then I don't push it too hard with gaming or multi-tasking. As a media device it does fine, and it charges that huge battery reasonably quickly.
The 2k screen is fine compared to other tablets in this price range, and the quad speakers are even better than those on my laptop...

I bought the M10 3rd Gen because I got it new for €80. I was looking for something cheap because I only use it as a "cookbook" in the kitchen and occasionally watch videos while cooking. It's perfect for that and does exactly what I intended it to do. A more expensive one doesn't make sense for me because I just wouldn't use it for anything else. I once had a Samsung Tab S7 FE and sold it again after 2 weeks because it was just lying around. The M10 can also get a few splashes in the kitchen while cooking. At the price, you can get over it and you can wipe it off again.

Hi could you please do a more in depth video of the notetaking capabilities especially for the lenovo Tab P11 Pro Gen 2 in apps like OneNote and others? I think it the most interesting differentiating think between tablets going forward and for me which i need to decide in what tablet to buy is the most important. Especially a comparison between more affordable ones like the lenovo and the more expensive ones like the Samsung S8 series.

I just bought this! Don't even have it yet. I was looking at the Yogi 11 or the P11 or P12 pro.
The high end Lenovo tablets only have upgrade support for a year or so. An example is the Yogi 11. Come Augusta 2023 it's at EOL for support upgrades. Security upgrades till 8/24.
The M10 plus has Lenovosupport and upgrade coverage till March of 2025.
I'll be using it mostly streaming movies, YouTube, or general internet browsing. Maybe light gaming in down time like solitaire or such.
These on sale now and you can get the 4GB ram with 128G 10M plus for just over $200

I had bought into the tablet as the holy grail. I have owned a Palm PDA in 2003.

---

Apologies for the oversight. In the late 2000s and early 2010s, tablets were indeed perceived by many as the "holy grail" of the computing industry for end users, surpassing smartphones in terms of perceived usefulness and potential. Tablets offered a larger screen size compared to smartphones, providing a more comfortable browsing and media consumption experience. They were often seen as versatile devices suitable for both work and leisure activities, offering portability combined with a relatively larger display for productivity tasks like document editing, content creation, and multimedia consumption. Therefore, during that era, tablets held a prominent position as the ultimate computing device for many users, overshadowing the dominance of traditional personal computers (PCs) and smartphones.

I got Lenovo M10 3rd gen and it's hella slow and has glitches. Top right option menu gonna take 5-10 finger slides before it pops up. Main menu sliding is not working all the time, when it does you can see how slow and glitchy it's opens the main menu. Nuh, returning it back and will try A9+

Would you happen to know if this has a Ldac Bluetooth codec under developers option?

I don't think Redmi pad has the 4G LTE whereas M10 does.
