Aloe vera is amazing when blended with carrot juice. Never mix it with citrus. Carrot juice or coconut water.
Castor oil when applied daily, will heal warts and tumours.

Sour sop leaves and the fruit. The leaves make a soothing tea. The heart of the soursop is given to kids that wet the bed. They eat it and it supposed to strengthen thier bladder. Bed wetting stops.

I am a Jamaican and I normally juice the aloe vera with lettuce leaf' ginger, apple, lemon, green bell pepper in a juice extractor and then drink it right away. It is definitely a laxative. The apple does give it it's sweetness so it is not as bitter but only use about a 1 1/2 inch of aloe vera and peel the aloe vera before juicing it.

You can also juice it with fresh orange juice.

Growing up in Jamaica, I only went to the hospital twice. One time for a busted eye and one time for a broken arm. Everything else was fixed with medicinal herbs, or home remedies.

The aloe Vera juice in the bottle is not the same because it is sweetened and you do not get the full effect of it so no need to drink that one.

Listen! "Wash out" or cleansing after summer vacation, just before school re-opens was traumatic for Jamaican children. We had to drink some sort of laxative or bitter bushes to "de-worm" including aloe vera. We boil everything as tea, personal favourite is orange skin with garlic and honey for cold and flu treatment. We do have easy access to these bushes and herbs, they can be found almost anywhere and people tend to grown them.
