just picked up a Samsung S22, and they did the same thing to me with the double-ended C dildo cable.
I had to run to 7-11 to buy a cheap USB-to-C cable.

the problem with mine is that the computer doesn't recognize the phone (or the other way round), so the phone just charges

Fyi... some cables don't support data transfer. Try several if they don't work. It wont pop up on your pc. And sometimes you don't get the approval pop up on your phone. It just shows up in explorer on your pc. GL

I got mine to work after i connected my to my computer with the link to windows app (Galaxy s20). after i connected through the app i then unlinked(deleted) my phone from the app in windows, disconnected the phone and reconnected and it worked. Hopefully it works for anyone still having problems.

Hi, I have the S20 Ultra and nothing appears in the PC explorer. I tried everything: USB debugging in the phone development options and the Samsung SmartSwitch software which cannot find the cable connection.
I use a USB tip (Mini Adapter) of Baseus brand and sometimes it is detected well in charge, maybe it does not allow the data? However, it is indicated as a charger AND data transfer!
It's annoying because I wish I could easily transfer my videos in 4K to my PC by wire!
I do not know what to do.

S20 Ultra fails during file transfer every time. I've tried developer mode. New drivers. Different USB cables. Microsofts half baked desktop Phone app. Disappointing that 2 big companies don't test their products.

at my computer its not visable. also my phone didnt ask for any permission. can i give permission for the files somewhere else in the phone? i have an s20+ ... i did use the charger cable, and my phone does say its connected. but in the 'my computer' it doesnt pop up underneath.. hope this makes sense..

It's not fun for viewers to watch the cursor bouncing back and forth on the screen. Otherwise, decent video. For future reference, don't bounce your cursor around. Slow down, too.
