Those "eighties sleeves" were my wedding dress! Ohmygoodness. Have you seen Napoleon Dynamite? My favorite line is where he says "I like your sleeves". 😁🤣
Summer-to-Fall transition dressing is the most difficult for me and you found some great choices. I loved all the navy sweaters most, especially the short, puffed sleeve one...so versatile. You look great in all of the the sweaters.
I don't think the dress emphasizes your hips at all (it looks like the dress, not your hips) but I also don't think that dress would be flattering on anyone. Good choice to send it back. BUT I LOVE the denim jacket on you. Perfect fit and closer to the body which is so "in" these days. Happy Sunday my friend!

You are too hard on yourself about the dress! I think it looks nice!! I own the boyfriend sweater in white .. I always miss out on the 5.00 items because they are always gone in my size! Walmarts denim jackets fit great!
