I’ve suffered with this condition for almost 2 years, I just got my second surgery, the first didn’t work. This time I’m very optimistic that it’s final, my Doctor was wonderful and very knowledgeable about this condition, I recommend people who suffer like me to get a surgery, find a good doctor. I had this lump that is located besides my butt hole. I am sure that its not an hemoroids. Its feels like a swollen vein that is too painful when I sit. Its so uncomfortable. I don't know what to do. Can someone please help

ive been suffering from crohns and perianal abscesses for 8 years now. This past week ive received my 20th surgery in order to drain my abscesses that keep coming back. my quality of life is not typical for a 20 year old male who loves outdoor activities and sports. I have lost chances to go to school and work a normal 9-5 because of how much of an issue this has become. ive been treated with both remicaid(until i became allergic after 4 years) and Humira.(currently on) both biologics have been unsuccessful in keeping these abscesses from stopping. I live in New York what would be the best way of contacting the JH GI team? Im more than willing to come to maryland to help find a fix to this issue

I believe I have a fistula that drains to the surrounding of my vaginal area, all due to having an hysterectomy. It also causes an odor one that is constant and one that is flatulence, another system is blood in the urine and of course the feeling of always being sick. Can you guys help with this condition?

Can you please give us an update on how the treatment is working? I've been suffering with these for years. I've had surgery on my left side for one and thankfully it hasn't come back but on my right side I've had reoccurring peri anal abscesses for over 8 years and am pretty sure I have another fistula. Thank you for researching such a painful (and embarrassing) issue and I would love to have it resolved.
