A 6.8 for bland chicken?! Sounds like the score is exaggerated. I hate eating chicken where only the outside is seasoned. Like Buffalo Wild Wings bland chicken. They just fry it and toss it in sauce. At least brine the chicken if you're not going to season the meat before coating & cooking 😒

You do know running water over your chicken is “cleaning it” you don’t always have to use vinegar or lemon/lime

Y’all are used to cleaning your chicken with citrus but a lot of people (Caucasians and Asians and middle eastern people) just honestly use water to clean their meat. Also not everyone wants to over season their food. It’s just not necessary. Some people prefer to taste their meat in its natural form

I tried it too. I sauced it afterwards with honey garlic and it was perfect for what it was. It’s not the worst chicken I’ve ever had.

Paula's method isn't mine but I'm open-minded enough to know there are a variety of ways to enjoy chicken and I'm glad to see it wasn't as bad as perceived.
