Americans have long divided ourselves between city and country, small town and metro, each looking down on the other, but Sinclair Lewis satirized us all in his breakthrough novels “Babbitt” and “Main Street.”

Revel in his razor-sharp wit and prescient critiques of self-satisfied middle class, rigid gender roles, and the cult of consumerism in this lively theatrical performance featuring talented local actors, David Beukema, Anna Leverett, Damian Leverett, and Melanie Wehrmacher, and created and hosted by Craig Johnson. Filmed on location in Minneapolis, St. Paul, and Sauk Centre.
