Thank you so much for sharing that with us! I’m a couple days behind because I’ve been sad for saying goodbye to my 19-year-old kitty boy, “Jakey Poo Poo” . He always had my back and I’ll always be thankful for the years God gave him to me. So this was extra special today to come back and see such a loved kitty being celebrated.

Congratulations for getting to Virginia and Damascus! So thankful you were able to support them. We visited for support and to cycle a little section of the creeper trail, just a few months after Helene. It was heartbreaking to see the devastation. They have worked so hard and overcome so much since then…yet there is still so much to be done …so we’re so very thankful for you beauty-heart bears bringing awareness! We will be heading back soon to section hike that area as training for our through hike next March.

I just wanna thank you so much for showing how to use “Far Out” and how you plan out your meals. What an excellent teacher you are! There are too many ways to name for being thankful for you both. ❤

I have to say this year you are more happy. One thing you must love your job and you are taking time out to talk to your people. And you are stopping in towns and eating good meals. My plan would be to find a place to eat a good meal. There is no way you can carry enough food that your body will need. When I was young I would leave for a week or two eating fast food. I was sick by the time I got home so I started eating one good meal a day and it worked. Keep up the good work.

Once I found Hawk I discovered how I could finally hike the AT right from my couch! I was always so interested in the AT. And did alittle hike in Harpers Ferry. So very cool.
