Costco in Mexico is essentially the "high end" supplier. Portions are a little smaller than the US for foods, because of the demographic they are targeting.

Polanco is the "ritzy and upscale" but not super-wealthy district of Mexico City. Pretty much everything is centered around that mall.. it was normal for the upper/middle class from all over the region to drive into that specific small area for shopping. I think our commute was over an hour one way and we went there several times the week I was there.

U need to sprinkle water a little water before hesting them on the microwave. The microwave basically uses the moisture in the food to cook it

The tortillas you got are literally the worst ones we have in Mexico. And fun fact! It rains more in Mexico City than it does in London

Next time when heating food in a microwave, cover with a wet paper towels. 30 seconds stir, repeat as needed. 😊

Reheating the paella in the microwave was not the best way if you didn't want the top layer to dry out. I know the kitchen options are limited when you travel, but this one deserves another shot.

That turkey sandwich is such a good bargain in terms of the size & quality. I get one every time I go to Costco!

Next time you go to Canada, go to the Costco and get the Polish sausage at the lunch counter instead of the hot dog. I think you can get poutine too

I always get mad at these videos seeing how much better other countries Costco food courts are than mine, we don't even have the onion machine anymore but they also have a jalapeno one. Canada might be the best one that has wings and poutine.

i found it best to toast the fresh uncooked tortilla's on a higher heat so you get those burnt spots but also have some of that see thru spots that make them nice and tender with a slight chew to them so good! Walmart sell them in some area's made by tortilla land i think was the company if i remember correctly.

Only at Costco will you find someone waiting for their footlong hotdog lunch with a cart full of toilet paper rolls 😆 They also take their spice very seriously in Mexico with that giant metal padlock on the jalapeños! Don't even try it 😂

Back in high school, I got together with some friends and we were grilling up some marinated chicken thighs. I decided to try to be bougie and brought a big salad with Romaine, goat cheese, strawberries, strawberry vinaigrette and walnuts. It was a hit, and I've adored goat cheese, Chèvre ever since❤

Mike I LOVE how you are Asian but still enjoy and conquer and appreciate all types of foods from ALL cuisines. It’s just so inspirational for me. I married another race and they only stick to their cultures food and cannot eat anything international or out of comfort zone.
You are my culinary dream guy match ❤😊
And btw, you eat everything, how you manage your figure??!!

Mike my man, your content is amazing. But you had many lenguage barriers in these video!
Like in the brownie dessert, it was Mazapan (Mexican traditional candy made out of peanuts) not marzipan which is made out of almonds.
I bet Some foodie like me would be delighted to tour you and host you in your next visit to the city!
And take you to the best places too.
Still amazing content and a dream to meet you sometime.
