I really hope Madeline brewer wins an Emmy for her performance as Janine. She literally blows me away in EVERY SCENE. Portraying those emotions throughout her characters cycle of abuse is extremely delicate and complex and she does so beautifully. To me she is the most impressive actress in the show.

The obvious love Aunt Lydia has for Janine is chilling, haunting, somehow beautiful. It's the most bizarre relationship of the entire series.

I think the arrest is interesting. Because the other aunt seemed just as upset when she was trying to warn Aunt Lydia. The aunt didn't have to do that. Most of he time the eyes just show up. Even then- who was helping lydia at the end? An aunt? An eye?

I want Aunt Lydia to beg on her knees for forgiveness after she is caught and brought to Canada at Janine’s feet after she realizes Janine will not help her. Lydia will see that her “favorite girl” wants her to be put through hell.

The best ending for Lydia would be to kindap Angela and hand her over to Janine and allow them to escape from Gilead, and when the soldiers notice that Lydia stands in their way so that Janine and Angela have more time to escape, and at that moment they kill Lydia.

I think Aunt Lydia is going to change next season for sure. You can see it in her eyes, facial expressions, and actions. And, she needs to begin to atone, redeem, correct and make things right will all of the wrongs that she has committed.
I also believe she will turn her back on Gilead. At least that is what I am hoping. And, I truly believe it to be so.. She has seen the hypocrisy, the abuse, the lies, the immorality, and the evil in Gilead. And, it time for her to leave, change, and make things right.
I'm predicting that Aunt Lydia will walk away, help Janine, get Janine's baby for her, and leave Gilead. I believe Aunt Lydia loves Janine. And, I know Janine also loves Aunt Lydia as well. They have had a long history and relationship, and it has grown throughout the years. And, I truly believe they both love and care for one another very much.
I am also hoping that there may be a situation where Aunt Lydia, Janine, and Charlotte might live together as a family once they escape and get away from the iron thumb of Gilead. That is what I am hoping. Because I think Aunt Lydia would be a good mother figure to Janine, and a good grandmother figure to baby Charlotte. That is what I am hoping.
Because it is time for Aunt Lydia to get away from Gilead, and do right completely by Janine and her baby.
It would be such a good ending story arch for Aunt Lydia, and her growth, love, and change.
