Am I missing something here? Does this not contradict what Martin Lawrence claims: ‘Unfortunately, if government advice from the Foreign, Commonwealth & Development Office (FCDO) warns against non-essential travel to your destination when your trip starts, you won’t be covered if you still go away or decide to cancel your trip for this reason.’ He thinks that the crucial date is when it is taken out, but this says it is the starting date of the trip.
