I hate the censorship, and using the Discord notification sound specifically just added an extra layer of pain since I *thought* someone was talking to me, then I looked down and saw I'm not even logged into Discord at the time.

Just burn for that. Maybe like a 90 degrees F hot summer day kind of burn, though...let's not blow it out of proportion.
