Set in the steel yards of Pittsburgh, the film is iconic with characters, music & dance that stand the test of time. Beals and Nouri crush it with a chemistry that's palpable and the dancing is ART. Great supporting cast as well. Lots to LOVE here.

The water scene, and the cute dog were my favorite parts of the movie. I was 8 when it came out so I just saw it as a dance movie. There were some great dance movies in the 80's. It has to take a lot of talent to dance in heels I cant even walk in heels.Sneakers are the way to not injure ones self😂 Don't forget the leg warmers and leotards sales took off after this flick came out.

This is probably my most favorite of the three music/dancing scenes in the movie (the other two being 'Manhunt' and 'Imagination'). I think though that the title of the song is 'He's a Dream', the singer is talking about a guy not herself or another woman.

I respect women for being able to walk in such shoes without breaking their ankles and for even making it looking good... . Not to speak about dancing like this although I never have been interested in this personally but from a voyeuristic perspective. But I absolutely have respect for it. And I grew up in the 80s and 90s. Better times than now. Much better in many ways.
