Thank you! I was only interested on information regarding #msconfig still being accessible on windows 11.
"Number of cores" from Advanced Bootoptions might be helpfull to get older games running. Setting core number to eight instead of 32 (running a AMD Threadripper) helped me with "Assassin's Creed" and "The Stanley Parable" on Windows 10.

I changed the number of processors to 8 as it was the only way i could play Far Cry 3. After i was done playing, i changed it back to 1. Now it seems there’s a far bigger problem as all of my games have a weird stutter :(

My friend changed the number of processors to max cuz he saw a video where someone said that he gets more fps by doing that. Now he cant start his Laptop is there a way to fix that?

Hi when I changed number of processors I restared my pc and I got coil whine, idk what is that but that sound iritates me. Idk how to remove that coil whine I didnt haved it before i changed number of processors to maximum of 16. Do you know any solution for me to help me remove that coil whine, btw nice video.
