How is KCET rank calculated?
KEA will calculate the KCET 2023 rank on the basis of marks obtained by candidates in Physics, Chemistry & Mathematics subjects in KCET 2023 and the marks obtained by candidates in Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics subjects in the Qualifying Examination, taken in equal proportions.

KCET Result 2023: What is the passing marks for KCET 2023?
As per KCET 2023 brochure, the minimum passing marks for all Horanadu and Gadinadu Kannadiga candidates shall be 12 out of 50 marks in Kannada Language Examination conducted by KEA in order to be considered for assignment of ranks and to become eligible for allotment of seats in CET-2023. (The Kannada Language Test paper will be of 4th Standard Level).

KCET 2023 result: Is 12th marks considered for KCET 2023?
Yes, KEA is going to consider 12th marks for KCET 2023 rank determination. Marks obtained in KCET exam result 2023 and in the qualifying examination will be considered in equal proportion while calculating the merit or rank.

When two or more candidates obtain same score/merit then the inter-se merit shall be determined to provide ranks for the candidates.

In case of Engineering/Technology courses, the inter-se merit shall be determined with reference to the marks obtained in the Common Entrance Test in Mathematics and if it is equal, then
The inter-se merit shall be determined on the basis of the marks obtained in in Physics and if it is equal, then
The inter-se merit shall be determined on the basis of the marks obtained in the respective subjects in the Qualifying examination as stipulated above and if it is equal again, then
The inter-se merit shall be determined on the basis of the age of the candidate, wherein the elder candidate will be considered before the younger.
Provided further that where the merit of two or more candidates is same, the inter-se merit shall be determined with reference to the marks obtained in NATA, where marks obtained in NATA are equal, then
The inter-se merit shall be determined on the basis of marks obtained in Mathematics in the qualifying examination and if it is equal, then
The inter-se merit shall be determined on the basis of the age of the candidate, wherein the elder candidate will be considered before the younger.
