I can't wait to see which OS you will choose to install. I'm partial to Arch based distros...😉

Awesome channel. Remarkable that more and more companies follow policy and provide a convenience to purchase HW (PC, Laptop or smartphone) running Linux. I am clearly confident that company from great Germany delivers outstanding products with impressive quality. Beside HW and CPU performance, which for sure are good enough to boost OS, it can be also awesome to check the FAN noise (cooling performance). I am SW engineer and like HW almost noiseless. Keep fingers for this channel and your goals. Thanks

Thanks Ermanno. I thought the over use of plastic was a little stomach turning. especially placing stickers in a separate bubble wrap. Sheesh! Looking forward to your future vids on this unit.

Here's what I would like to see in the full review:
* how compatible is it with Arch Linux?
* keyboard test (feel, typing speed, sound, back-lighting)
* screen (viewing angles, color accuracy)
* performance (perhaps see how long it takes to compile the Linux kernel or run some benchmarks like GeekBench etc...)
* integrated Vega GPU performance (can it comfortably drive the laptop screen and an external 4K monitor?)
* battery life (heavy/moderate/light usage - perhaps leave it playing YouTube videos non-stop, see how long the battery lasts)
* speaker quality (how does it sound?)
* microphone quality (how clear is the mic in voice calls?)
* front-facing camera quality (what do video calls look like - especially in low lighting?)
* network performance (wired and wireless)
* upgradability (user replaceable battery, memory slots, m.2 slots)
* noise (do the fans kick in during heavy load, and if so, how loud are they?)
* heat (how hot does it become under load)

Could you try some fully libre distro to see if it is working?

Big question is how expensive are they? Cost is a huge factor to most people

A small suggestion: if possible can you also take a look at starlabs' starbook?

Do you perform stress testing on your laptops?

Does it have a microphone and camera built in? I didn't see any mic jack to plug in a headset with mic for calls

Could you put subtitles in your videos? I'm from Brazil, and I don't understand English, I kind of turn around to understand with the automatic youtube caption!

Unfortunately, the notebook has a loud Coil Whine. Tuxedo exchanged the mainboard but the Coil Whine is still there. It is much louder than all other Notebooks I worked with. According to Tuxedo this should be normal. Very annoying.

Way too much plastic bags for a laptop unboxing, imo. They should have used cardboard instead. Besides that, the laptop looks really nice and I can't wait to see more about it. Even if I just bought an Asus TUF Gaming laptop :P

So every YouTube Tuxedo unboxing video shows the package includes a lot of swag with their laptops. This is not the case when purchased by individuals. All you will receive are 2 pens and a small notepad. Nothing else... But those are not reasons to not buy. Of more serious concern is their support, which I have to say is among the worst I've experienced. Not only does it take days for them to respond to an inquiry, but I've been waiting for almost a month now on a resolution of slow connectivity on both WIFi and Ethernet. They keep stating they need to test further. I purchased the Infinity S 15 Gen 6 spec'd out with all the latest, fastest and most powerful components (processors, RAM, SSD's etc...) available for this model. It appears Tuxedo jumped the gun and did not fully test compatibility of components against offered OS's. So here I am, a month later with poor connectivity and Tuxedo dragging their feet on resolving my issue in any way. I'd recommend looking elsewhere for a Linux laptop, perhaps Slimbook or System76 as their reviews are much more favourable. Caveat emptor!!!
