Hey noah. Traxxas r d designer here. Weve found that running our bigger rcs xmaxx or maxx slash with lower voltage but higher gearing makes them more durable. And putting the least heaviest batteries in the battery tray helps too. For example 8s xmaxx on 6s maxx slash on 4s lets you jump them higher without breaking. One more thing you should do a slash 4x4 vxl vs the maxx slash in skatepark concrete jumping. In all our rc's the slash ultimate was the most durable rc car with 80wt shock fluid we got it to 97ft jump from a helicopter without it breaking anything.
