The connection between Albedo and Scourge is they're both arrogant, egotistical, and ambitious villains from another world who are the evil counterparts to famous heroes they have a history of impersonating and serve as rivals to (Ben Tennyson and Sonic the Hedgehog). Both also possess the same powers as their rivals as well as their ability to transform using items equivalent to the ones they use (the Ultimatrix and Anarchy Beryl). Additionally, both use to share the same color schemes as their rivals until their colors were changed by a powerful green object (the Omnitrix and the Master Emerald) and formerly worked alongside a genius scientist in some way (Albedo was Azmuth's assistant and Scourge was Doctor Finitevus' right-hand man). Both were sentence to prison after their defeat but later escaped with the help of other villains.
