On "EWTN News Nightly" tonight: As the war in Ukraine enters its deadly and horrific 26th day, with millions of people fleeing for their lives, President Joe Biden spoke with European allies for just under an hour by phone. Meanwhile, Secretary of State Antony Blinken has declared Myanmar's violence against Rohingya Muslims a genocide. The military in Myanmar are accused of torturing, raping and killing Rohingya Muslims. Director of the Religious Freedom Institute's South and Southeast Asia Action Team, Senior Fellow at the Hudson Institute and Professor at Baylor University, Paul Marshall shares what the designation means and what type of implications it could have for Myanmar's government. Today is also the 1st day of Senate hearings for Judge Ketanji Brown Jackson's nomination to the Supreme Court. Judge Jackson's ascension to the High Court would be historic. Vice President of the Institute for Constitutional Government at the Heritage Foundation, John Malcolm, joins to tell us more about Judge Jackson and her legal background. Finally this evening, Church leaders in Europe recently held a 4 day gathering in Slovakia. The 3rd European Catholic Social Days ended on Sunday. Archbishop of Dijon in France, Monsignor Antoine Herouard, joins to tell us more about the meetings, how they went and what the main focus was.
