Jon, the Millennial Movie Member who begin me on my journey thru the Marvel Universe, sent me this after Endgame. I am BEYOND excited for phase four - but especially Black Widow.

I will never forget how it felt to be in a packed theater during that moment. When Steve said "Avengers Assemble", the entire place lit up and people cheered. I've never seen anything like it in a theater.

We love watching movies with our sister Ashleigh. Your appreciation helps us reclaim the magic our the first time watching.

Black Widow was fantastic. And discovering Ms. Pugh is an absolute delight

"I got goosebumps."
That would be the appropriate reaction. We all had them.

I grew up reading Marvel comics (in the early to mid 90s) and I always loved reading Stan's Soapbox (Stan Lee's little message to the readers at the end of each comic). He always taught acceptance, friendship, love, and responsibility for our fellow human beings. Marvel has (almost) always tried to bring diversity to their comics, whether racial, religious, or sexual. The X-Men series (the first comics I ever picked up) taught a lot of young people that it is okay to be different, and that different does not mean weak or lesser than. I credit Stan with a lot of that, for always reminding the readers to be the best version of themselves.

The reason we watch these movies is to experience something as a group and culture. It's entertainment and at the same time a very basic concept of shared experience.

This made me well with tears.

Thanks, John, for your sponsorship. It’s a blessing seeing Ash swim in this world. ❤

1:29 Stan Lee’s catchphrase “Excelsior” literally means “ever upward.”

1:36 This particular audience reaction was actually filmed by the Russo brothers at a showing of Endgame, and released on Twitter and YouTube on the first anniversary of the movie’s release.

2:45 This was the first bit of Eternals released publicly.

3:22 Although there was no date or actual title, this got a lot of fans going - it’s the logo for the Fantastic Four, whose movie will be at the start of Phase 6.

It's hard to describe the hype in the movie theater during some of those moments in Endgame on the opening weekend. Everyone went nuts when Cap summoned Mjolnir. And as the heroes appeared to fight with Cap at the end, the cheering and excitement rose like a fever pitch and EXPLODED when 'Avengers Assemble' happened. Once in a lifetime experience.

i only had my daughter on weekends, so i wanted every weekend we had to be special so one of the things we did was to go to the movies, and we would go early and sneak into a second one, since i was on a tight budget we went to the dollar tree to get snacks first, and that is how we would spend a Saturday, in the theater with the big screen riding an emotional roller-coaster, she always got to pick a movie each week. those were some of the best of times. i miss them.

I wasnt going to go see End Game opening day but there are so few opportunities that come along where shared experiences of a single event NEEDS to be shared with other people. Weddings, funerals, birthdays, are close family experiences. What movies and television does is bond people that you don't know, through a single story GLOBALLY. Luke Skywalker, Frodo Baggins, Tony Stark, these are names that truly brought hundreds of millions of people together for 1 thing, to share in an experience. Endgame had to be seen opening day with those brothers and sisters Stan Lee talked about. It was a 10 year journey we all took together. The tense moments of uncertainty, the laughs, the tears, and the cheering is something I will never forget in that theater because I knew that everyone there had been on the same trip I had been on and for 181 minutes in that big dark room everyone of us where a big family.

I feel so sorry for those who didn't get to experience Endgame in the theater, opening night. It was amazing to be in with that crowd.

The part that got me then, got me now and will likely always get me was in Endgame when Anthony Mackie says "On your left" just as the rest of the Avengers start arriving through the portals. The roar that erupted in the theatre was indescribable. There are VERY few movies as perfectly crafted as Endgame.

I have watched that video so many times and I cry every time. Hearing Stan’s voice gets me every time.

A lot of Reactors slept on this. I was hoping it would come back up. Thanks Ash.

In the comics there was always a final page where Stan would answer fan mail, and you got a sense that he was a big proponent of humanism. He always saw the best in people, the potential for humanity to rise above their petty differences and work together to make this the best place in the multiverse.

"That man over there -- he's your brother." That always breaks me. It's seeing Black Panther, combined with hearing Stan's voice.

I was a manager at a movie theater and had seen Endgame twice in the few days before it came out. Seeing people's reactions on opening night during the pivotal scenes was quite magical. The excitement on the faces of fans both younger and older sure was a sight to behold. Even the reactions between the select handful of employees we let see the movie early with us was awesome.

This made cry, and yes that is stan speaking.
