Brushing my Belgian Malinois: Tons of Hair Comes Off

If you have a Belgian Malinois, German Shepherd, or any other dog breed with a long coat of hair then you know how out of control their shedding can get, especially when the seasons are changing and it’s hot out. And you also know how important it is to do anything you can to help prevent it.

The key for us to keeping our house not completely covered in hair from our Malinois Hazel is staying on top of brushing her very thoroughly once a week.

This is super important for us especially during the hot months so hazel can stay as cool as possible which is ultimately great for her health.

The 2 main things that help us the most before & while brushing Hazel is getting her nice and tired from running around the dog park and having a solid, strong, and effective brush like you see in this video.

This definitely does not keep our house hair free, but it makes it much more manageable to deal with during our busy lives.
