One of the Battlefield games that seemed to take the franchise to the next level was Battlefield 3. The game had one of the best campaign modes in the franchise, with the story allowing players to step into the roles of a variety of soldiers, as well as including some fantastic missions in Paris and in New York City
The main complaint you'll hear is that All-Out-Warfare doesn't look like a battlefield; there is very little strategy or team play. So if you're buying the game to play All-Out-Warfare in its current state, we don't think Battlefield 2042 is worth it.

Major Improvements to new map Renewal
The release of Battlefield 2042’s season 2 brought with it a brand new map. Much of this first update to season 2 involves ironing out the cracks of new map Renewal to make matches and gameplay a much smoother experience.
Whole sections of Renewal have been taken out to reduce distance between objectives and promote close quarters combat in a greater capacity. Terrain and path’s have also been reworked to make it easier for vehicles to travel around. As well as these changes, additional walls and cover support have also been added in for greater protection from incoming bullets and attacks.
