Most of the times my saliva tastes really sweet. To be fair, I can also taste sugar in plain water..

What does it mean if my saliva is slightly sticky and mildly thick? Is that good or at least okay to have? I ask because I like my saliva being like this because it allows me to maintain control over it and minimize drooling when my mouth gets really full when I talk for a long period of time. Am I right to be thankful my saliva has this texture or should I be concerned? I have a lot of saliva strings between my teeth when I talk, especially when my mouth gets full, but I find that preferable to saliva dripping out.

I find it difficult to talk and laugh in public..
My mouth doesn't get full with saliva though, but it just feels like full and spilling out when I talk to much..

My saliva use to be like I didn’t even notice it. But I shared a cigarette once with a co worker and I caught something it’s sickening feeling my saliva feels thick and I have moree like my mouth becomes full and it’s gross I spit it out has anyone ever experienced this?? I can’t stop spitting 🤢

My saliva has gone thick with a lump feeling in my throat. Over 3 years i have had multiple tests with ENT. But can't find a reason. The saliva is thick very wet a s sticky in my mouth and throat like mucus.
I had a partial glossectomy in 2017 no radiotherapy.
