My ODE final one year was exactly to show that the VDP oscillator had a periodic orbit. I ran a simulation that made it obvious, but I could not for the life of me construct a trapping region! I tried for hours and hours. It was the only question I lost points for during the entire class, and it took me from an A+ to just an A.

When you returned to the VDP oscillator this video, I was so excited! But then you left it up to me again, and now I'm frustrated all over again.
