Several groups did have an opportunity to play Freedom at Origins. All said that they loved the game and wanted to immediately play again - because they came so close to winning.

Freedom: The Underground Railroad was not playable at Origins 2013 as not all of the cards were present (something that publisher Uwe Eickert was surprised to discover just prior to recording this overview).

I am curious to the feedback from the folks at Origins? Was this a playable demo? If so what did people think of the theme or the game itself? From a historical perspective I find it a very interesting topic to turn into a game.

Definitely looks interesting. I'm trying to look into newer cooperative games to involve more of my friends with. This theme looks fantastic. I'm curious as to what the turn by turn gameplay might involve, and I didn't actually catch a win condition from this video. Anybody have any links?
