The new Blue-Eyes Tyrant Dragon that's releasing in the OCG soon in Battle of Chaos is nice to see, as this archetype is finally getting another boost since Dark Magician the Dragon Knight.

you also left out that, because of the precise wording, in the card game the eye of timeaus can be used as a fusion spell/substitute to summon any fusion monster that lists a "dark magician" monster, specifically dark paladin and dark flare knight (forgot the name, flame swordsman and dark magician.)

10:43 That's a negatory, this arc is non-canon filler, so it has no baring on the main plot of the canon story. They just made the Knights look like the Duelists as an aesthetic choice.

The Dragon of Destruction is a fusion made with Critias and the trap card Ring of Destruction. It's a good monster with 3000 def, and his effect have no backfire on you, like the trap card. "Once per turn you can pick one card your oponent control and destroy it. If it was a monster card, inflict damage to your oponent's life points equal to the monster's attack".
Basically, if the enemy have that kind of pesky monster that can be brought back from the graveyard due to his effect, keep destroying it.

It's great that Konami made these dragons playable and fun I just wish they made the god cards so broken like it was in the anime
