My friend borrowed me his Ninja 300 for a short test ride. I had a desire to test ride Ninja 300 for a long time since i am big fan of small displacement motorcycles but to be honest i was disappointed. I have never ridden any other ninja 300 before but I think that problem was in that particular motorcycle, might be it is poorly maintained and need some adjustments, oil change, new spark plugs, air filter or something else. At least i was feeling it like this, for example when i pushed accelerator it wasn’t linear , as if it needed some air to breeze also i had problem with gear shift lever, especially from first gear to second i failed couple of times when i was trying too fast. Might be it wasn’t bikes fault and I just get used to bigger displacement motorcycles(BMW F800st and Honda NC700X) and instant torque from low rpm. When I started acceleration from first gear and tachometer was in high rpm range 8000rpm + it was more or less satisfying and powerful enough but lower than that it doesn’t has enough power for me. Other than that it is lovely motorcycle and who knows might be i will test ride any other ninja 300 which will be in better condition and I will change my mind.
