Getting back in shape after all the bad habits I picked up in this pandemic has proven to be hard, so I decided to set a goal.. I'll be running my first full marathon next April. Yes, your condolences are appreciated. Thing is, I think that for the better part of the 9 years that I've been working out, finding the right gear is just as complicated. If you follow me on social media you've seen me try all sorts of platforms and smartwatches, which will be a separate video. For now I'm gonna focus on wireless earbuds, which is not as easy as it seems for a guy like me. See, I run, cycle and weight train, and since I sweat more than the average human, earbuds either don't survive a year of use, or their design isn't ideal for all kinds of activities. So, to respond to all your questions on IG over which ones I recommend, I decided to put together a list of five. I'm Jaime Rivera with Pocketnow and let's dive in.

I have been using Galaxy Buds plus for 7 months now and it is absolutely a charm to work out with it. I just can't feel it in my ears and The sound quality and bass is absolutely perfect. Never had to increase the volume above 55%.

Thank you for these recommendations! I also over sweat. Just do cardio. I want to use earbuds but they always slip out because of the over sweating.

Jaybird is out. I never buy a product promoted in a video that's also sponsored by the people who make it. To me it's bad form to combine a review or a recommendation with a sponsorship. Other than that: I enjoyed the rest of the video. ..and appreciate an update on this important topic.

For the last year I have used the Jabra Elite Active 75t for all bike rides, running, and gym workouts. Only issue with for is the tend to slip out when I lay on my back for bench press or sit-ups. Because the bass is so strong, they also make for a fun time watching certain TV shows and movies. They just have a bolder sound than Apple provides.
That being said, I use AirPods Pro for everything else in my life because they have the clearest sound I have heard, even if it lacks bass. No extra static or pressure on my ears to distract from pure music or audiobook experience. It’s just a very clean sound! I also love the convenience of their tiny size and case design.
I will also mention that I recently tried out the Beats Fit Pro and absolutely loved them and they had the best fit and size I have yet experienced, especially for workouts. They would be my top pick, if not for a pervasive crackling in the left earbud that is more noticeable in ANC mode.

I do have to agree on accidental presses for the buds pro. But they are definitely not as bad as the buds 2. There is no way to readjust the buds 2 without accidentally pausing music every single time.

The Jabra 75t are really hard to ignore when you are able to get them for $100 now. I own several pair of earbuds and use my 75t the most

I love my Galaxy Buds Pro also for my runs. What you could do to get a better experience with your Buds is to change the volume down/up by taping the side of your ear and block the touches when running in a light to heavy rain or when using a hood when it's cold to prevent accidental clicks. Then use any Galaxy Watch to switch music of your play list and do the play/pause.

I got Beats while ago and I’ve been very impressed with them. The sound signature is so fun and works for every type of music really well. I also have Airpods pro but if I’m listening to music or working out Im always picking the Beats. Airpods are better for calls and overall apple ecosystem, but I’d actually recommend studio buds over them because you can save a lot of money and get very similar experience .

Personally I went from the Samsung galaxy buds plus to the Sony WF-C500 for 89 buck Canadian about a month ago and there better then the buds+ I’m my opinion. The sound is good, bass good and the fit great. But there no Noise cancel, but if you have the sound a good point you don’t really hear anything. And Sony app you can literally tune it the way you want.

I own the AirPods Pro and Jabra’s but Soundcore Spirit’s a with ear hooks are still my go to for workouts. Stays in my ear, and the right amount of bass.

Which would work for a very small women with small ears? I use them mostly for running and sprinting, maybe while lifting, if I want to be left alone. I'm a personal trainer and group instructor, exercise a lot. Need a pair that will last, sound good and stay on my ears. For reference, I'm 4'9 inches tall, 90lbs, my head is o. Proportion. 😆

I had the jay birds. The u.i. keeps glitching on me I had to return them TWICE. But the form factor is literally perfect and sound so good.

Not sure if you picked the jaybirds as your first choice because they're good or because the video was sponsored by them.

I use the Buds Pro for running and workouts.

No issues with keeping the fit, or controls.

You can set the experimental feature to adjust volume by tapping the side or outside of your ear to help with that, too.

Power beats pro for working out are the best out of everything else I’ve used. Good sound although when you are doing an intense workout your hearing goes down a bit and they don’t go as loud. Water resistant, never come out of your ears and good battery life 👍
If a new model with NC comes out I’ll def get em.
Edit: typos

I run a lot and also sweat a lot and often lose my earbuds I need something that will stay in my ears. most I’ve tried are the older Apple brands. I love music and I prefer it loud and crisp would be my first preference when selecting so which ones would you recommend for me? Sound quality top followed by staying in my ears on a good 10 mile plus run on a hot day!

Excellent video. I have the Jabra 75t, the Galaxy Buds Pro and the Beats. For workouts, Jabra is the best I think, due to the fit (for me). I am waiting for Black Friday to go to the Elite 7 Active, which is smaller than the 75t and sounds looks like it will be even better. Nice work. Saludos desde Madrid!!!!
