Porsche 911 Turbo S v 1,100hp Supercar Killer: DRAG RACE

It’s time for another contender to see if it can take down the Porsche 911 Turbo S!

We’ve got Yianni in the 911 Turbo, and he’s lining up against Mat in the Lucid Air Dream Performance.

So let’s check out the stats. Starting with the trusty Porsche, it’s powered by a 3.8-litre twin-turbo flat-six that can put down 650hp and 800Nm of torque. Power is sent to all four wheels via an 8-speed dual-clutch automatic gearbox, and it tips the scales at 1,640kg. If you’re looking to buy one new, it’ll cost around £180,000.

Then we have the all-electric Lucid. It’s equipped with two electric motors, and they combine to put down an eye-watering 1,111hp and 1,390Nm! Power is sent to all four wheels, but given it’s electric it’s pretty heavy, weighing in at 2,383kg! It’s also slightly more expensive than the Porsche, costing £193,000.

So the Lucid has more power, but will the extra weight work against it? Or will it hang on to snatch the win? There’s only one way to be sure… LET’S RACE!
