My family puts a damp towl in a ziplock bag and closes it (leaving a hole for the steam) and then puts it in the microwave. It make a great heat pack! We usually wrap a dry towel around the bag after you microve it so it doesnt burn you.

Allll my life - And im 24 born in 99 - i have been taking EVERYTHING out of ziplock bags. TO MICROWAVE them. Just to find out I COULD HAVE LEFT IT IN THE BAG🤦🏽‍♀️. Ok
